Claim Manager/Claim Specialist

In this role, you are responsible for managing and handling claims within a piping and pipe support project at INEOS Zwijndrecht Antwerpen. You act as the contractor’s representative towards the client Tecnicas Reunidas and safeguard contractual agreements, costs, and schedule. You work closely with project management and site execution teams to identify and substantiate deviations at an early stage. This position requires strong analytical capabilities and clear communication skills. Start is ASAP, with an expected duration of up to two years.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify, register, and analyse claims and contractual deviations
• Prepare and substantiate claim dossiers, including cost and schedule impact
• Negotiate claims, variations, and change orders with the client
• Support the project team with contract interpretation and risk management
• Maintain structured documentation and correspondence related to claims

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Claim Manager or Contract Engineer in industrial projects
• Knowledge of piping and pipe support works
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Serbian is a plus)
• Analytical, independent, and results-driven
